I sent it to my family in my home country and we just love it! It can get annoying for them tho so proceed with caution... 😂
It was hard to finally connect to my WiFi , once connected, it worked perfectly fine the first day, charged it to 100 percent. The very next day, it’s in and out of WiFi, won’t charge at all, it’s staying at 23 percent. It’s just sitting there because I can’t use it, I hate that I have to return it, I’m in love with the pink color, but this is the 3rd day and it’s still not working properly.
This thing is so cute and works super well! I got it for my husband for Christmas, but I play with it too. You can have multiple users for it, so it can be fun and useful for the whole family! Video quality and audio is excellent. It even can send itself back to the charger!
I’ve had this little robot for a few months now and it has been incredibly useful for our family. Our household consists of several adults and lots of pets. We can check in on the house when we are away, see who is home, talk to them, get up close to the dogs to say hi, and even give outside family and friends a tour of our house. We actually have two robots, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Upstairs is carpet and downstairs is hardwood. The robot works well on both surfaces. It does bounce a bit while driving on carpet so it’s harder to see while you’re driving, but it’s not terrible. We keep the robots docked most of the time and haven’t had problems with the battery life. The robot doesn’t dock itself well in nighttime mode, but in daytime mode, as long as you get semi close to the dock it works every time. I put a plastic folder under the dock that sits on carpet. The robot struggled to make the last few motions onto the dock, so the flatter/smoother surface helped a lot and I haven’t had any more problems.Just like anything, there is a little learning curve in using the app and driving the robot. If you’re not tech savvy you might need a more technologically capable person help you set up the robot. It’s not difficult by any means. If you can set up a new device, you will have no problems getting your robot up and running. However, if you are someone who calls your younger family member for help every time your phone does something weird, you might need them to set up the robot for you.Overall I’m super happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend!
I have two of these. I LOVE that I can talk to and play with my pets while I'm away. They run to it when they hear it roll off the base because they know it means they get to chase the red dot.• You can control manually or set it up to do a specific move once or for 3 minutes. Same applies to sounds. Laser is manually activated.• You can take pictures and video• You can turn on input and/or output audio to speak or listen. If you are in your home, you may need to turn off input volume to prevent feedback when speaking.• It has night visionI bought my first blue ebo from another site and never had issues.I bought this ebo and the first one kept losing connection so I contacted Amazon for a replacement. I received the replacement before getting the original mailed out!The second one is flawless.**Regarding connection issues during initial setup: With all 3 ebos, after the first time it says "connected to the network", the bot would not be connected with the app.I had to reset once (hold the button on the bottom up to 10 seconds), redo the connection, and that worked. I don't know why this happens but it may help someone else.(My first pink one that kept losing connection would happen when I tried to use the app to move it, and it was always laggy when it did work.)**FYI it is recommended to connect to a 2.4G network instead of 5G, so keep that in mind. I haven't tried to connect to a 5G network so I can't speak on that. Now, even with losing power, they have always successfully connected when power returned. They can also find their charging base...most of the time lol. It definitely finds its 'home' better than my iRobot!Overall, I love these little bots and our cats love them too. They make going out of town for a long weekend much more bearable because we can still play with and talk to them.
